Welcome to OliverWEB 2005, where all your dreams come true! Even Sam's! Just follow the yellow brick road! Becoz, becoz, becoz, becoz, becoz!! No one gets in to see the wizard, not no way, not no how!

...*ahem*... so, if you're curious where all the old OliverWEB stuff on the sidebar went... it's gone. Yes yes, I've decided to drop all the old stuff and create an entirely new site including backend, layout, etc. The old OliverWEB can still be found by clicking on the "legacy" link at the top right of this page. Enjoy!

Who wants to CLEP out? I've signed up for:

Tue 11/30/04 10:30 AM - 1:00 P BWY 104B
at the testing center. BTW, anyone taken the CLEP already? I want to know how much I should study beforehand... I think someone told me there's a packet somewhere that we can read and it pretty much tells us everything we need to know?

Digital Rebellian

Well, Van and I went over to pick up my "new" Canon Digital Rebel last night and I'm playing around with it at the moment. Expect some photos to be posted within a day or two.

I'm borrowing Van's 50mm f/1.8 right now, but I just ordered a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens which I should receive early next week. HOTNESS. It's picture time!

The Hotness

Weeeeellll, it's October and that means I'm supposed to make a new OliverWEB design. As you can tell, I actually did it "on time" this year. I decided to get rid of all the old stuff and so if you want to look at any of the pages/posts from the past, you'll have to use the legacy link at the top of this page to view the old OliverWEB.

I decided to give Movable Type a try, so that's the backend at the moment. I also pretty much completely used CSS for the layout stuff, which is actually pretty cool. I'm waiting for my camera to come in within a few days, but after that, I plan on posting pics and treating this somewhat like a photo-blog. I'm also going to try to keep the page(s) "XHTML 1.0 Transitional" validated (whatever that means), but we'll see how that goes. =)
