It was brought to my attention that bitmaps (BMP) were used as image formats for some images. DO NOT USE BITMAPS!!! =)

Also, in the process of converting the bitmaps to JPEG and uploading them, I noticed a bunch of images that were just sitting there not being used. Please don't use the newsimages folder as a storage space. At least tell me if you put something in there temporarily so I can delete it...

And Minix, what program are you using to save JPEG's? They're bigger than they need to be... (file size wise =)

Yeah, could be it. Some of those might even be smaller in GIF format... not sure... I've found that usually a quality of 60 is good for most JPEG images except for some photos.

Ah, well I got lazy and only optimized one...

The dinosaur one was at least 120k or almost 200k, I can't remember, but I dropped it down to around 60k-70k...

lala, yeah, I think i put a BMP in there, accident =) butttttttt, Ive been using Jasc photoshop and MGI... are all of them too big, or some? I can't view file size on most anymore...
